Trainees receive Reading2Connect age/dementia friendly books, supporting materials, and a 2-hour online, live training with other clinicians. This training enables therapists to integrate reading with evidenced-based strategies to achieve CMS-approved therapy goals. Examples of therapy documentation are provided.

THE LIBRARY PROGRAM
With the Reading2Connect Library Program, library employees and volunteers receive the tools and skills to serve their older adult patrons, especially those living with dementia. Our program training is specifically designed for librarians. In the online, live training, with other library participants, we elaborate on how to engage older adults with reading material optimized for them to enjoy on their own, inside the library, in their homes, and in the care communities in which they live.
