THE CLINICIAN PROGRAM

With our program, speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists learn to use adapted reading material in their therapy with older adults. Clinicians are able to expand their cognitive/communication therapy caseload, especially with adults living with dementia.

Trainees receive Reading2Connect age/dementia friendly books, supporting materials, and a 2-hour online, live training with other therapists. This training enables therapists to integrate reading with evidenced-based strategies to achieve CMS-approved therapy goals. Examples of therapy documentation are provided.
